This Baby Shower was a little challenging...My friend Leilan wanted a baby shower not too "babyish", actually not "babyish" at all. And the colors… Yellow and Green (very patriotic since she is Brazilian). The shower was held at a famous Brazilian restaurant and we even had a Brazilian band playing Samba.
I loved it!
Soraide (Leilan's best friend) and I started working on the fabrics first. After a little research, I found these glass candle holder that hangs from the ceiling which we both felt in love with. Here are some pictures for you to see what we made. Better pictures will be posted soon…
I changed the background of this picture frame to yellow to match the decor...
These "yummy" sweets were made by Leilan (the mother-to-be) and were wrapped by Soraide....
This is a passion fruit mousse, very common in Brazil and very delicious!! And the little daisies were handmade by Gislaine (Sweet Garden Creations)
These cute little houses are Tea Infusers and were the favors of the party
I had to change the place cards a couple of times until I found this one. Then, I placed the flowers on each one....All about the details!
This box had a super cute surprise inside - A delicious chocolate truffle - I place one flower on each box...
A little challenging indeed, but in the end we were thrilled with the results. Most importantly Leilan was very very happy with the decoration and the party and so was everyone else.
Viva VIDDA! The little princess that will be here with us in February...
