Mark's Surprise 40th!!!

I absolutely loved loved loved working on this party, not only because the "client" was my big sis Cibele, but mainly because I know how much in love she is with her boyfriend Mark. And I knew she wanted everything to be PERFECT!
Cibele's only request was that the favors were a “hangover kit”. Super cool idea which I hope to be use on other parties. She knew her guests were a drinking crowed, so we designed this kit which contains pretty much ANYTHING you can possibly need after a night of drinking. From aspirin to Gatorade, we had it all.

For the main table, I chose to keep as simple as possible. Not only Mark is turning 40! He is a simple guy, so just some chocolates, the cakes (made by Delicias de Cakes), and the favors. For colors I chose, black and silver… elegant with a little “pop”. Ju came up with the idea of a childhood background picture, which it was a big success. Thanks Ju!
Getting this pic was a funny story which I must share. Around Xmas time, Cibele tells Mark that I needed a pic of him as a child for some of my “crazy projects”. Mark emails me a picture of him and Santa and writes… “here is me with my special man”. LOL, Mark seriously believed I was creating something for Xmas. Unfortunately I did not succeed in getting another picture from him, so I was forced to crop Santa out. Sorry Santa!

And of course, we cannot leave our personalized waters behind... after all, you do need to keep yourself hydrated while/after drinking alcohol.
